Revolution Mind Publishing was brought about specifically to publish this, its first book. The intention is to publish others too, and there are already outlines for others on the way.
What books will we publish?
Books of revolution. Not the promotion of violent insurrection, but encouragement to regain control of individual freedom, liberty ... our lives. Books to improve the wellbeing of all inhabitants of this planet. Books that promote personal development.
We will question some of the things that are generally held to be true, but with no good reason.
These will be books that challenge—not for the sake of challenging, or for controversy; but to provoke the development of the all-but-lost art of thinking.
Books that encourage everyone, however humble, to use their reasoning and decision-making processes independently of popular opinion, the media, spin doctors, or dubious dogma.
We look to a time when all people arrive at opinions only after they can expound on the merits of both sides of an argument, and then make considered decisions based upon our principles.
